Course Description
CTS 2 can help ease your nerves and boost your confidence before you take the CTS® exam. CTS 2 serves as a natural progression from the foundational AV knowledge offered in CTS 1. In this course, you will enhance your understanding of the core competencies that are assessed in the CTS exam. It builds on the knowledge gained in CTS 1 by introducing new focus areas, applying previously learned skills, and deepening your understanding of key concepts.

By registering for this course, you are not signing up for the CTS exam. The CTS exam must be applied for, paid for, and then scheduled separately at a Pearson Vue testing center. Candidates should review the CTS candidate handbook to learn more about the CTS Exam. Remember, there is no requirement to take any classes or buy study materials to take the CTS exam. However, many of your peers have found courses like these helpful in their exam preparations.

Senior Staff Instructor/Technical Advisor, AVIXA
Paul Streffon, Senior Staff Instructor/Technical Advisor for AVIXA, has more than 35 years of experience in the AV industry. He has worked in many different areas within the industry: production, system design, installation, sales, marketing, management, and education. Most recently Paul was Director of Sales for tvONE, Inc. He was National Sales Manager for Digital Processing Systems and a regional technical supervisor for Sony Electronics. Streffon holds two degrees, an M.B.A., Management and Business, and a B.S. in Broadcast Electronics. He also earned an FCC Commercial Operator license. Paul is an AV volunteer for his local church community.
